One of our two annual golf competitions, the Alternate Benny O'Shea, was held at Ifield Golf Course on Thursday 5 June, ably organised by Bros. Peter Frisby and Manus McDermott. It was followed by lunch in the clubhouse. The winner was Bob Sparks with Mark Gidman and David Skipp in 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
A fantastic raffle was held during the meal, which actually had more prizes than there were people attending! The aim of the raffle was to raise money for St Patrick's Missionary Society's interfaith outreach in Nigeria. A total of £265 was raised which will be passed to our contact, Fr. Chris McGuinness.
