Ousting Dinner Thursday 21st May 2015

It's that time of year again. The Annual Ousting Dinner, when the old President is finally ousted. It's been a very successful year for Brother David Innes as President, who has had some major challenges at work to contend with as well as the Circle.

The Lunch Pack at the Lamb Inn - Wednesday 20th May 2015

The monthly informal lunch in the Lamb Inn, Lambs Green, was rescheduled to a Wednesday instead of a Thursday this month. As a result we got a record turnout of nine people, and it was a very enjoyable occasion.

Provincial Quiz Night 27 February 2015

Eleven teams from six Circles were represented at the 2015 Quiz held at St.Edward's Hall in Crawley.

After 8 rounds, East Grinstead's 'Whats in a name' were the clear winners, the same team of six retaining the trophy that they won last year.

The trophy was presented by Birthday Boy and Provincial President Des Boxan-Cullen.

Thanks to Sue Mitchell for setting the questions, Gerry Lydon, our Quizmaster and Carol Jones for producing an excellent buffet.

Circle Meeting - 28 August 2014

We've never featured an ordinary monthly meeting in the blog, but as this is the backbone of Catenian life on which all else hangs, I though it was time we did. After the meeting Tobias Melia gave a talk on the work of HCPT The Pilgrimage Trust, which is our President's Charity this year.
